How come I can see this only ending If Laila agrees to take Ceiba place?
i see your point, and laila would certainly be up to the challenge, but her having a (very high!) official rank in vamp society would put kimmi in one hell of a situation – she´s still part of the division meant to monitor suspicious vamp activity with optional taking down ‘problem vamps’ after all, so being the girlfriend/spouse of a vamp leader would make her beyond compromised in the eyes of her peers.
plus, i don´t think laila wants all the political hassle that comes with the job 😉
