i´d say laila is less the mall-shopping kind of gal and more into designer-stuff.
Kimmy is practical. She likes looking good but has likely always had to work it within a budget so had to do some smart shopping. Laila is a princess. No use phrasing it otherwise, she is demon royalty. She likely has gotten very accustomed to acquiring and wearing only the finest. Silks and velvet and other fine things. For the love of the gods, she has a diamond ring with diamond so large it rivals the size of a human eye. I bet, despite her current hobby, she could buy the world three times over. To her the finer things are normal and the cost merely an afterthought. It must be painful for laila to have her lady love do something so vulgar, so banal as to wear the same things as the commoners XD
