ok, the door is closed, no more bloodsucking party poopers are gatecrashing. now they only need to chop up the ones already gone before they make it out of the desert. no biggie…..right? well, one can dream 😉
How does it work if you kill someone in the land of the dead?

Irkalla is a subterranean destination. The castle was built on the surface just inside the first gate (of seven) to the Underworld. So the dead go back “downstairs” from whence they came. And if they were downstairs instead, well, there would be no reason because you’d be dead too. Only Inanna ever returned and that was with Enki’s assistance reviving her. Enki being the creator of life. They ways of the Underworld are mysterious and unknowable to the living.
