@Marvin Mann @Greg Carter But this page felt rushed. I get what happened but rather seen it. Say a panel wear we see what Laila saw that made her see a trap and another that showed Pazuzu was in on the trap and going to kill her anyway even after remembering.

Jonathan; I’m always open to constructive criticism. Believe me, I’m a harsher critic of my drawing than you could be 🙂 I’ve learned a few things seeing how the work looks when posted compared to how it looks on my drawing board. I want to keep this book as consistent as possible given the number of art changes already, but when the next book starts, there will be some Changes.
Just stabbing Pazuzu wouldn’t stop her. Since the curse is now active, the princess/Pazuzu would continue to track down Lamashtu to kill her.
The thing is… there was no trap. She shouted that to start a fight as cover to stab the princess.
The Massacre at the Main Temple was a peaceful celebration until the Spanish attacked for reasons unknown.

ok Then Why did she Activate Pazuzu and how did she know the curse was now active,
Sorry not knitpicking honestly bit lost.
It’s a preemptive strike so she is not caught by surprise when they inevitably meet.
Edited to add: Hmmm. It looks like I accidentally edited out where in a previous encounter she says that Pazuzu and the curse would activate eventually without her help. I need to go back and fix that. Sorry about the confusion!
