*facepalm* i´ve been biting my nails for a whole week wondering whether aralu is a b*tch or if this was all some plan her and william cooked up and now instead of continuing you´re giving us a glimpse of the past, namely laila´s birth…*frustrated growl* there better be a good reason for this torment!
Haha, sorry for the frustration! Each chapter of this arc is opening with a flashback of some sort. Since this is the start of chapter three, well, you know… ^_~
oh well,at least we now know for sure that anu´s hate for laila is totally unfounded – her mom simply died during childbirth. a sad, but rather frequent occurrence back then….hence absolutely no reason to sic a killer on her, curse her, throw lightning and erase a whole civilization 😉

For some reason this reminds of V when Robin Maxwell had twins by C-section a reptile boy with blue eyes and a humanlike girl with a forked tougue named Elizabeth.The boy dies and Elizabeth saves the world from a V bomb meant to destroy humanity.
Please have more flashbacks they make the comic very interesting.
Flashbacks kick off every chapter. (And more of this particular flashback to come after the holidays!)
How about crossovers with other comics.
