I like that even faced with being bitten, Kim can laugh it off. Her expression shows that she is unafraid of her vampire lover. I can’t help but feel that someone is about to disturb their moment of domestic peace.

Pazuzu was cursed to be human and not remember who he is. Reborn over and over. Kind of wondering if Kim IS Pazuzu. If So that Would Rock. Some might Argue it would Lend predictability to the story, I disagree Fate and True Love destiny and magic Are a theme of this story as such it would Pattern and believe ability.
Pazuzu is a Worrier who would be looking for Lamashtu his lost love as a human with no memory. And if the meat the world will end or so the proficiency Claims. Kim IS a Human Worrier living with Lamashtu. So if kim IS Pazuzu then it fits the Theme and PATTERN of proficiency and we will be in you a very interesting Well Made Story!
So would you risk the world to be with your one true love? I would.
Pazuzu, as far as I could tell, was our antagonist from Aquiescense.

Ceiba was the antagonist in “Acquiesce” and also a vampire (pointy ears). Pazuzu is hidden in the form of a human (not-pointy ears). I can say no more.
