Wow! Nice page! From what I can tell, the shot hit him in the back, probably busting at least one of his lungs on the way out. He’s a goner, even if it didn’t hit his spine. Also, I wonder how she will ‘clean things up’ *smirks* Can’t wait to see the next page 😀

Sloppy shooting. If you want a kill you either aim for the brain or the heart – NOT the middle of the chest. Sure they bleed out after a while but it’s not an instant kill and they could be saved by medical professionals.
Unless the point is to keep them tied down trying to save their friend that’s bleeding out – thus keeping the others in the killing zone. But somehow, I doubt that.
@DarkVeghetta: OK, what? First up, soldiers are always taught to shoot center-of-mass, headshots are what you aim for in computer games, not real life. Second, a shot through the lungs does not just kill through bleeding out, it causes rapid asphyxiation, and is in fact the preferred shot of hunters looking to kill game quickly. Third, that looks a hell of a lot like a heart shot to me anyway. The heart is pretty much on the centerline, not way over to the right as many people believe.
