“Darmok and Jalad At Tanagra.”
“Shaka, when the walls fell.”
Not precise, but appropriate, yes?
(I’m jonesing for the next Star Trek movie.)
In news about an ancient method of communication (ink on paper): the “Love is in the Blood: Acquiesce” graphic novel and the “Love is in the Blood: Begin Again #1” single issue are both off to the printer. Please save up your dinera so you may purchase them very soon.
you don’t think kimmy could be one of the reincarnations
That theory is the local version of R+L=J (from A Song of Ice and Fire). It’s what the entire storyline has been building up to.
Huh?
I think the reincarnation was William until he mysteriously vanished…in the sense we do not know if he really died in the previous bust-up or not.
I think Kimmy feels vulnerable as if the legends are true, she is still waiting for her man to appear and that their current relationship is not set in stone?
Kimmy is the reincarnations. That might sound predictable But True Love should be. Else it be like Snow White getting her kiss and staying dead. A really good story should fit a level of predictability but remain interesting thats the challenge.
Else its like going to a David Copperfield show to see David Copperfield and have him do nothing but card tricks and no Disappearing act. No magic Disappearing trick, Man’s a great at cards, but you go to the show to see him make something disappear. And you would feel cheated!
You read a fantasy love story same reason. Hero gets the true love, Breaks curse. Restores memory.
If Kimmy is NOT the true love returned ….Well we are robbed Laila just playing around with a girl when she knows she spoken for. Makes it all tarnished…
Predictable not bad, Often Unpredictable IS! Feed your 8 year old kid some Green Icecream and have em find out that instead of mint its Brucelspouts Ice-cream and see how well Unpredictable works out!
Curious lady is curious but how much of this background for the deities is based on actual Mesopotamian mythology? :3
This reminds me of a 2 part graphic novel story entitled ”Apollo’s Song” in which a young man is reincarnated again and again in order to learn about love.
Hmm this would explain why Laila isalitle reluctant to feed on Kimmy
hu? i thought it was kimmi who had a problem with laila munching on her?
Yes but she did not seem to push the issue.Made it clear take all the TIME you need.Seemed happy about.
poor laila, seems as if ALL her relationships are doomed…i can´t help but wonder though if it was their proximity that awakened the curse or laila returning pazuzu that triggered it – and i´m torn between shock and awe at her strong survival instincts. i mean, once she realised that it was the curse she didn´t exactly hesitate to kill(!) her beloved, while NOT crying her eyes out but planing her escape. thats almost…ruthless. (and reminds me of one of my favouite tv-characters, yay!)
I think this is not the first time this is happened or the 50th.
Destroyer of civilizations (plural) as in more than 1..
Tenga, his arms wide!
Just had a nasty thought, REAL NASTY and elevates her dad to new Level of SCUM. What if the curse Was going to destroy the world not just Pompeii and she had to kill him to Stop it!!!
And Done so before. Now that sucks.
i wouldn´t put it past the old fart to add such a nasty catch! honestly, that dude needs some a#kicking….sadly i can´t see how that could be done 🙁
