More fun in ancient times.
Gina: This page was really interesting to draw. I have not done a lot of action or violence in my art in a long time. Drawing the sword fight was rough. I would have liked three or four pages to do the scene elaborately, but that could get boring quick in webcomic format with only one page a week. Still, I think it turned out nicely. You still get a feel for what transpires from the playful beginning sparring and the more dangerous turn at the end.
Wonder if there something else he was aiming at?

i agree, he looks downright shocked when he hits her. guess its big daddy who is pulling the strings…man, that old fart sure knows how to hold a grudge!
Maybe his human part and demon souls are at war now. One wants embrace, the other wants to slay the demon vampire.
Oh dear… his body seems to be an instinctive vampire hunter… Anu IS an ass, isn’t he?

Anu really needs to die, Keep wondering why he hates her so,He loved his wife she died in child birth? Or was in more complicated? Lamashtu was born a Vampire so was her birth a little gory? I.E. Ripped her way out? Or did she eat her moms soul bing born? I Mean the guys a GOD! And appears not in alien with super science way but Supernatural all powerful way.So why Did she die or for that matter why she stay dead?
I mean hes a God. Unless maybe there was something Special about her giving birth to Lamashtu a demigod Vampire that not only killed her but Erased her?
Could Explain why the old fart hates her so bad.
Or maybe he wants her to kill him to join his wife? In many Stories/myths theres Lots of ways to kill a Vampire but only One to kill a God King. His childs got to Slay him and take his place. Could that be it? He needs her to hate him enough to Finish him take his power so he can die? Hope we find out what goes on in the old boys head, Or could there be more could Lamashtu been really evil and all this suffering be a means to make her a better person so he cold get out of killing her? Could the bitter old fart have a reason for being a prick?? And this all some kind of act ? I mean if he wanted her dead really dead she be dead. So many ways this could turn out.
