Not certain, says what Pride? Spite? Fear? Anger? I for one do not know.. Wonder if Kimmi dose? She came at her girl friend the Tough cop all Colonel so Laila came at her as Lamashtu and the first vampire.. If this was there first fight there was no winner but the losers clear.
In those types of arguments/fights, no one ever comes out the ‘winner’. When a loved one is sleeping on a couch, things aint going well.
My guess purely basied on the expressones and their faces is Kimmie is realzing how uterly teariffying Laila is and is wonder if anything could stop her and Laial is filled with regret of opening Kimmie’s eyes to reality but yeah the argument was a classis you push me I push back harder yeah Laila more or less won the battle but as we can see both lost the war
I must say i freaking love this story arc more than the bloody violent ones. Now to wait calmly for next monday. is it Monday yet?

Got to be Kimmie. It a physical truth with Laila one she can not change.
It occurred to me that this might be the first time Kimmie been the physically weaker member in a relationship.
Straight Women deal with it constantly,they got to trust there Bigger stronger mate no difference really.
Bit Kimmie never has , Colonel marshal artist even is shes bi She at worst was Equal. But is she strong enough to be the physically weaker ?
My father was 300 pounds 30 air-force Sargent my mother 90 pounds. She once nearly tore his ear off dragging him out a bar. Never layed a hand on her in 40 years but there needed to be trust. Fact was weather some one can lift a train or just lift a piano the mate needs the same trust as ether can abuse you and if they turn nasty there be nothing you can do..
But my point is Kimmie never been in that situation but I bet some of her old girlfriends have felt that way with her, it works out if they trust you and can deal with the physical strength difference. She got some growing up to do.

well, its obvious that laila misses having kimmi next to her while kimmi shocked and probably second-guessing everything…..nevertheless, i think their fight was necessary. laila needed to open her eyes, only if kimmi is aware of WHAT she´s dealing with dating her they have a chance for a common future – if kimmi can handle the full truth.
I think what I really love, and is the most telling, is that they are both shedding tears (or it’s just the lighting and I’m imagining things). I wonder if Kimmi is the current reincarnation of Pazzuzu. That would really tear at Laila’s heart =…(

i dunno i think kimmy is just used to being the “strong/tough” one in the relationship. Being overpowered so quickly probably shattered her self image of being the strongest toughest hellcat on the face of the earth. Then Lilia came into her life and utterly destroyed that self image of herself. Kimmy probably never saw herself as being “fragile” before.Hopefully she can rebound from this. why isn’t it monday yet!
