I discovered this comic shortly after it started, but then had become quite ill (physically and mentally) and took a LONG break from the internet, and have only just come back recently and am re-reading from the beginning. Still love the story! anyway, on page 56 you asked for favorite vampire series, and you pointed out three of my favorites … but there is one that not many people don’t know about, but those of us who do know love – it is the Half-Life Chronicles by WM Mark Simmons. I think there are 5 books in the series by now – I’m having trouble with Amazon tonight or I’d list them for you. I think the first book is “One Foot in the Grave” and I know the 2nd is “Dead on my Feet”. Simmons slyly pokes fun at modern culture and ancient mythology alike while he heartlessly destroys the life of his main character, Chris Cjethe (I think that’s the right spelling – it’s pronounced “cha-tay”) with malicious glee and plenty of dark humor. Definitely check it out – they are great books.
