Woooo … he asked the question!

    “what about us?” !!
    :D

Ok, so much for not getting involved in this comic… Dumb question: Why does feeling vunerable and being a vampire mean attack lover? I get that this comic is a cross between Buffy and a few B-movie (no offense, but the rapid-fire plot and random sex feels that way) vampire flicks, but I don’t remember that being a reoccuring theme. I’m guessing it is just a given that vampire=short temper and our boy here should know that, but it still seems odd to me that she would go crazy like that. Then again, it’s not like she’s stressed out over a ritual involving the end of all humanity and her possible nasty death or anything… :D I guess I’m just babbling. I do that sometimes.

And another attempt to diffuse the tension so they can think clearly has backfired horribly. Might as well pop the question.

  4. Tiana says:

Woo, tensionnnn. I love the expressions she goes through. Subtle but interesting.

  5. Sheela says:

On a sidenote, he also seems to have remembered that which she had forgotten, that he might not live to see the next say, even if she lets him live.

    There’s other dangers about!

As for why it would be bad for a vampire to be vulnerable ?
Centuries of being hunted would make you fairly paranoid, I guess.
Any weakness, real or perceived, could be bad for the vampire.

Heyy I love your comic but as its fairly complicated could you try to get the updates out more reguraly. I understad your busy and all but its frustrating as areader to constantly be waiting for an update. Thanks. ANd i do love your comic!

  7. Greg says:

As always, thanks for the comments!

I wish we could do more faster, I really do. Kinda stuck with once per week for now. Maybe we can up the pace before too long.

  8. Bob says:

Well, quality over quantity. Better to take your time and know what you’re doing rather than play fast and loose and churn out sub-standard work. (That’s kind of what I use to do when I tried to write “epic” novels when I was younger: I’d start writing like mad, then realize after the first idea I had no plot or plan and everything fell to pieces. Actually keeping track of everything and coordinating things is harder than it looks sometimes.)

Wow, after some thought, that is one DEEP bathtub. He can land and have most his body below water!
