  1. Steve says:

Jesting is fine. @#$!ing with a hormonal/emotional vampire is *not*. :P

  2. Sheela says:

On the other hand, if the vampire is old, it ought to have a better reign on it’s emotions – Which probably means she’s trying to scare him off. Question is, will she be successful, and does she really *want* to succeed in scaring him away ?

  3. Azure says:

Jesting or not. It’s a legitimate tactical question, and he DOES need to know, especially considering the current stakes. (No pun intended.)

  4. Tier says:

On the gripping hand, did this particular vampire ever bother getting a reign on her emotions? Its isn’t particularly needful if you are even tempered to begin with.

  5. Greg says:

Thanks for the comments! What can I say… she’s complicated.

  6. Monika says:

You also have to consider that she is not you average camp. All the norms are thrown out the window.

  7. Sheela says:

Well, if she is so complicated, then perhaps it would be good for her to calm down and simplify herself a bit for him. Otherwise she could end up loosing him over a stupid and needlessly complicated reason.

Even strong girls like company, is what I say.

  8. Greg says:

Don’t forget Laila already warned him about being “two-faced”. Every time they get close William pushes her away by snarking about her being a vampire. A human accusing a vampire of being vulnerable is a HUGE insult even in jest. Last straw, etc.

  9. Sheela says:

Oh .. and how would he know it was an insult, if she never told him about it ?
It’s not like normal humans know everything about vampires, mind readers we aint!

  10. Sheela says:

    On a sidenote:
I do think he needs to be put a bit in place, but I hope it will not end their relationship. If anything, I think she needs it more than he does, and I would like to see her keep it, if nothing else, then for the character growth both he and she could gain from it.

  11. Tymothy says:

How can you have a relationship..with food. All humans are to vampires are a source of sustenance. You can’t have a meaningful relationship with a hamburger either.

  12. Sheela says:

I don’t think we have to worry about wether or not a vampire can have a relationship with a human or not, because it sure seems like they already have one, so I guess that makes it a moot point.

Wether it will last or not, well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see for that one.
She could after al turn him into a vampire too, then they’d be on equal footing.

Well, unless he goes all emo on her and tries to kill her for turning him.

    Details, details. XD

  13. Azure says:

Tym, apparently not all Vampires see humans as just “chicken Mc Nuggets with legs.” Laila actually seems to care what her “cattle” think and feel, unlike the sister of the guy who is currently being throttled.

  14. Sheela says:

    “chicken Mc Nuggets with legs.”

oooooOooo …. bad mental image there!! :(

    What’s next?
    Flying watermelons ?

  15. Greg says:

As Spike said, “Billions of people walking around like Happy Meals with legs. (Becoming, Part Two)

    Different strokes for different… vampires.

  16. Karen says:

When dealing with a being who is able to bench press trucks, it is best not to patronize their emotions.

  17. Haraio says:

Aaaaand that’s taking it too far.

  18. Sajra says:

Vampires may eat humans, but they aren’t vastly different in emotions. She is most likely just used to using force to get her way.
